Can I add a LCD or Variable DC Power Supply?

UPDATE 1: Yes, these two components are available in the Electronics Lab now.

UPDATE 2: The LCD requires connections to Vcc and Gnd or it will give an error.

We take down every request for new components and we record votes for popular components like the LCD - so if you ask for something we'll count your votes.

Please look at adding 128x64 OLED display on I2C.

Hi Vivian, Great suggestions. We're very close to adding a LCD that's found in lots of peoples projects: 16 characters x2 rows. We also want to add a variable DC power supply, it's a little ways off.

Hi Folks - the LCD and DC power supply were added this morning!

    Very nice, Aishen.
We've noticed the display on the Power Supply is blank and I suspect we'll fix it in the next 24 hours. Several of these components are brand new, and we've put them on the site to let users test them and try to break them - so thank you for posting. If you would like you may file a ticket (the link above) and have 1:1 access to me and the team.
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Voltmeter with the DC component
There is a little problem the DC doesn't display voltage ?

But I guess with what you said I must connect voltage

Very nice circuits! Your skills at layout are strong. Now can you do the complete PCB layout? ;-)

It does it ! Great !
I think that depends on the order components are laid ?

    Hi Rob,
    Here is a better "plastic"

I will do what you suggest about LCD !
    Thanks

    Hi Aishen,
Thanks for the great examples. Sorry about the confusion - the button to submit a ticket directly to us is the "?" on your circuit page.

As for your Voltage measurement circuit were able to fix the missing-display on the power supply by doing this:

    1) select the LCD and delete it.
    2) Press the undo button (looks like this |< ) in the upper left corner.

    That should fix it.
    Thanks!

I was just testing it to see first if it worked. Now I will try to make more "beautifull" examples.
Thanks anyway for this excellents components I was waiting for : Last year I baught an lcd and I haven't been able to use it. Now I can see with this prototype how to correct it (if i didn't burn it ! lol)
    I don't see any link file a ticket ?
    Thanks

Hi Aishen - We updated a few parts last night to have more accurate simulation profiles. Therefore you may now want to add a 180 ohm resistor to the LED backlight (on the LCD) if you are driving it from 5V.

    Hi Aishen,
Your straight-wire designs are super clean, we love them. As for the pin connection would you please clarify what you're talking about?
    Thanks,
    Rob

A frequency meter, but I think is n't yet working properly

I like straight connections and I use a resistor 0.1 ohm but would be nice to have pin connection instead, how to make it ?

Agreed. We will be expanding the number of connectors in the simulator, partly because people who design PCBs based off their breadboard designs do not always need a 1x8 header.

    Like pinHD 1*2 in/out

    or better female ones

There is a 1x8 in the simulation components. I find it useful because it gives you a way to connect external devices if you end up laying out a full PCB - which I like to do with my designs.
